Asbestos Control & Treatment Ltd - Asbestos Removal Liverpool

Asbestos Control & Treatment Ltd (ACT) has 25 years of experience in asbestos removal and remediation. Based in the North West with its head office in Liverpool, ACT provides fully licensed asbestos removal services and offers asbestos encapsulation as an alternative to removal. The company also provides asbestos disposal services including collection, transport, and disposal. ACT has worked with clients including global manufacturers, public institutions, housing associations, and local councils.

It has provided asbestos removal and abatement services to United Utilities for over nine years and has been the exclusive contractor for asbestos removal and remediation works for CGA since 2017. ACT's team consists of industry-certified professionals. The company has a carbon reduction plan with clear sustainability goals and strategies to reduce carbon footprint, and offers apprenticeship schemes and educational opportunities for unpaid industry placements. ACT's chosen charity is the Osbourne Trust. Notable projects include asbestos removal at Liverpool Cathedral, a Grade 1 listed building, and at the Capital Building in Liverpool, as well as asbestos encapsulation and removal at Elanco’s high-security manufacturing site in Liverpool.

Professionalism and reliability emerge as the qualities that Liverpool customers mention most often. ACT is repeatedly described as a company that responds promptly, turns up when agreed and completes asbestos removal without fuss or delay, whether the job involves industrial asbestos cement pipework, floor tiles, or unexpected finds during a refurbishment. Several reviewers note that quotations are reasonable and that the final cost matches the price discussed at the outset.

Clear communication runs through the accounts: customers feel informed from the initial survey through to completion, and the team is praised for explaining procedures and health and safety arrangements before work begins. James and his colleagues earn particular mention for their friendly manner and for fitting jobs around awkward dates, such as school holidays.

Tidiness is another recurring point, with sites described as left clean and free from debris once the contaminated material has been taken away. Repeat business features strongly, as clients say they would call the firm again for future removal work, including one contractor who treats the team as a first point of contact whenever asbestos needs dealing with. Compliance with regulations and careful site setup are noted alongside efficient completion of larger factory and property projects.
