Do not go anywhere near this company. Classic cowboy builder. Scammed us out of thousands of pounds. Said he could do various things that he clearly didn't have the experience for. I should have seen the red flags early when he stated he didn't work with cement. He was doing a large scale building job. The job was half done and to a terrible standard. He started not turning up and one week he came in for 45 minutes and left. The plasterer didn't even want to come back as he didn't want to be associated with the terrible job he had done. He was employed to fit windows, deal with a damp issue and fit a kitchen. He left us with more damp issues than we started with. He ended up leaving the job and giving us some of our money. It wasn't enough. I got legal advice, sent them all the pictures and they said that we were eligible to get all our money back because the work was so bad. Unfortunately we had already agreed to a partial refund. We had to spend thousands of pounds getting someone else to re do nearly all the work. The new builder u covered even more issues. Lots of cover ups and cut corners. I still have all the photos and are happy to share with anyone thinking about using this cowboy

Having been let down by the builder we had contracted who left us with a nightmare mess of unfinished work, we turned to George at Levitt Construction. We needed sympathy, we needed honesty and we needed to understand all of the costs to make good the mess we'd been left. Then we need a fast, efficient and quality build. George was outstanding and delivered on all fronts. If I get the opportunity in future, I will absolutely turn to George first as he is a Grade A professional, 100% trustworthy and an all round genuinely lovely human being.

George and his team did a brilliant job with my renovation and extension project. A keen attention to detail along with a personal approach to the work (and relations with neighbours) made this project a success. Completed to time and budget. Highly recommended.
