Weaver Demolition Ltd

Weaver Demolition Ltd is a family-run demolition contractor based in Bristol. The company was established in 1968 by John Weaver and has over 50 years of experience in the demolition industry. Following John Weaver's death, Mike Weaver took over the company, and the third generation of the family is now actively involved, working alongside Mike.

The company name was changed to Weaver Demolition Ltd in 2004. It has been a member of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors since 1989 and achieved ISO 14001 certification in 2011. The company is currently working towards a combined system incorporating ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Weaver Demolition Ltd offers demolition, dismantling, soft strip, non-licensed asbestos removal, crushing and waste management services. It operates across Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. Its client base includes established contractors within the construction and petrochemical industry, local councils, NHS Trusts, architects, consultants and private clients. The company can act as Principal Contractor wherever required.

Demolition and plant work form the core of what Weaver Demolition Ltd provides, and several buyers describe the standard of the finished result and the way it is achieved. A car port removal was called tidy and precise, with the outcome surpassing what the customer had anticipated, while other accounts note that work was properly organised and completed inside the agreed timeframe. Fair pricing recurs, with quotations returned without delay and a readiness to visit sites in person and discuss how a project might be made more cost effective.

The team, among them Mike, Shaun, Chris and Jonny, is portrayed as friendly, helpful and available to answer questions, with one long-standing contact noting that the same care has been evident across more than twenty years of working together. Reviewers also remark on the family character of the business and the pride its people take in their craft. Railway sleeper materials were praised for quality and durability, and the delivery service was singled out as dependable. Environmental requirements on a site previously used by bats were handled satisfactorily, and the company is repeatedly described as a reliable choice for complex projects.
