Swansea Council Baling Plant (commercial site)

Went in the treasure shop and had a good few bargains all staff very helpful

I periodically visit the Tip Shop for bargains. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are give away. It's great to be able to recycle stuff bought there and knowing the money goes into more recycling.

I go to the Baling Plant a lot, it's always busy with commercial vehicles large and small. It's quite straightforward: each vehicle is weighed on the way in and on the way out. The difference is paid for in incremental amounts. I normally only pay a tenner because my van can't take more volume.

Had to queue but only a short time. I had come from Gorseinon. It is a pity that it is a small amenity depot spend some money to make it bigger the council let more houses to be built but do not increase. The size of the amenity depot.

Still not taking black bags. Tip treasures shop is still closed, but all other types of recycling are open. May well have to queue and be prepared to show proof of Swansea residency.

Communication very poor checked web site b/4 travelling site telling me open 730-430pm got to site found to be closed until further notice someone needs to keep council tax payers like myself informed better
