In and around Manchester and Trafford Park, P.P. O'Connor Ltd is known to several customers as a skip hire and waste management provider as much as a demolition and civil engineering contractor. Reviews regularly refer to quick delivery and collection, competitive pricing compared with other providers, and the range of materials the skips accept. One customer notes that the team took on a stalled project elsewhere and worked through days and nights to bring it to completion, while another highlights the friendly and considerate manner of the operatives, including a driver who showed courtesy on the road.

The company also handles excavation and earthworks, with googleSubtypes listing civil engineering and earth works. A point that comes up often is the positive attitude of staff when complications arise, such as a missing permit or a neighbour's parked car, with the crew remaining cheerful throughout. Customers describe reliable turnarounds and a straightforward service, and the business is praised for taking on awkward jobs that others had left unfinished.
