100% recommend M2 builders. They helped me resolve a complex structural issue in a speedy and well managed project. The site was kept consistently clean tidy and safe and the finished brick work is constantly receiving feedback from other visiting trades around how good the finish looks. Will definitely be using them again on the next project.

Absolutely over the moon with the work from R2 Builders, especially Alfie Shortman and his brilliant team! From start to finish, the whole experience was seamless. Alfie was quick to come out and quote, got me booked in promptly, and most importantly – did exactly what he said he would, which is so rare these days. I had a clear vision in my head but struggled to put it into a proper design. Armed with a million Pinterest photos, Alfie completely understood what I was going for and brought it to life even better than I imagined. It started as an astroturfed concrete block with no character, and now it’s been completely transformed into a beautifully landscaped garden with planters and plenty of room for pots – my absolute dream space. Every detail was taken care of, including all the drainage work, and everything I asked for was delivered to such a high standard – and at a very reasonable price too. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What really stood out was the level of care even after the job was finished – Alfie came back to install my washing line pole, which just sums up the kind of service you get. I genuinely couldn’t recommend R2 Builders highly enough. If you’re thinking about getting work done, just do it – you’ll be in the best hands!

We used M2 builders for repaving our front garden with some large format porcelain. Alfie and team were great, never felt rushed, always took the time to explain whats being done and the options, and we were able to get to a design/ paving setup which worked well with the shape of the front. They also helped clean the brick walls, repoint and put new copings/ pier caps on, which finished the job off nicely. I would recommend to anyone who's looking for a professional job, where you don't feel rushed as a customer!

Complete garden renovation in Southsea, Portsmouth. I instructed Alfie at m2 builders after being recommended by my neighbour and I was not disappointed. I’ve had bad experiences in the past and he has rebuilt my trust in builders so thank you. We had a 90sqm porcelain patio installed along with other landscaping jobs and we could not be happier with the outcome.
