Demolition Services Ltd

Demolition Services Limited, trading as Demolition Services, is a demolition contractor based in Leeds that has operated since 1980. The company's legal name is Demolition Services Limited and its CEO is Jenna Romani. It operates across the UK and works in sectors including chemical, oil & gas, power, steel, manufacturing, and food production. Its clients have included private sector organisations and local authorities.

Demolition Services holds a full suite of industry accreditations and memberships and has an ongoing partnership with Tata Steel. It carried out blowdown work at Ironbridge Power Station. Project manager Charlene Walsh was awarded Technical Membership with the Institute of Explosive Engineers. The company provides demolition, decommissioning, asbestos removal, and brownfield land remediation services.

Demolition Services Ltd is a construction company based in Armley, Leeds. The two accounts on file differ sharply. One describes the firm as good people to deal with, pointing to a straightforward working relationship. The other concerns the demolition of Harworth Colliery and is strongly critical, calling the end given to the site undignified and disrespectful and saying the pit merited better than the botched attempts made there.

The same account raises communication with the surrounding community, which it says was lacking and left local people upset after receiving inconsistent information from employees. No single verdict emerges from the feedback, with warmth and strong criticism sitting side by side in the two accounts available.
