We genuinely couldn’t recommend Boyson Construction highly enough. We’ve been using Colin, and now Pete, for over 10 years and they’ve become our go-to builders for everything from major projects to smaller jobs around the house. Their biggest project for us was a sandstone extension on our listed property, which came with all the usual challenges of planning permission, architects, engineers and conservation requirements. They created an extension that completely transformed our family home, including a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, plus an additional bedroom and en-suite, all finished beautifully and perfectly in keeping with the original building. From start to finish, communication was excellent. They always arrived promptly, explained clearly what was happening throughout the build, and there were never any nasty surprises on costs because everything was discussed properly upfront. That level of honesty and transparency is rare in the building industry. What really sets them apart is that every job gets the same care and professionalism, regardless of how big or small. They employ genuinely skilled local craftsmen who clearly take huge pride in their work. At the end of each day they’d tidy up as much as possible, which makes a massive difference when you’re living through a building project. They’re a fantastic family-run firm, trustworthy, responsive and brilliant at what they do. If you want builders who genuinely care about the end result as much as you do, Boyson Construction are definitely worth a call.

Boyson Construction has worked on a number of projects for me. Initially after buying a 'doer-upper' Pete and team took on the large scale works to get the house into shape. Since then I have gone back to Pete and team for smaller projects knowing that they will offer me the best solution at a fair price and with quality work. The work Boyson Construction complete is always well considered and delivered with quality. The team are trustworthy, polite and courteous and deliver an excellent job with minimum disruption.

I have known Pete for many years and have on many occasions hired him to carry out work for me , from having an extension at my previous home, to replacing all three bathrooms in another house , plus refitting two kitchens. Throughout the project, I found all the guys who work for Boysons to be professional, dependable, and highly skilled.
